Richmond’s Top Teacher

I had planned to get in a recipe today for a quinoa, clementine’s and cilantro salad…but you will have to wait. Richmondmom.com asked me to pass some information on, since it is such a cool site and such a brilliant contest, I was thrilled to help out.

Richmondmom.com and Top Notch Richmond are asking folks to nominate their favorite teacher. The teacher who wins will receive over $2,000 in gifts. With this years budget cuts (hence cutting salaries and benefits in may areas) Richmond teachers could sure use a show of thanks.

So go to this link and vote!! http://richmondmom.com/index.php/funformoms/page/category/top_teacher_09/

What a nice thing to do for the teachers. When I taught, I would easily spend at least $6000 dollars a year of my own money for classroom needs. Teachers can use all the help they can get!
